In Holguín, you don’t need to go far for a taste of authentic Cuban life. Catamarans are waiting in the port to whisk you away to the very best snorkeling spots and Jeeps are always ready to lead you into the jungles of Cuba’s most adrenaline-filled destination. I cannot believe it’s been a year already since I wrote my first words for this blog! It seems like all this happened in a different life, and I still remember exactly how I felt as if it was yesterday. I was excited and full of emotions: happy, nervous, unsure and disoriented. Unsure because although the idea of blogging seemed like a promising hobby, like so many others starting a blog, I thought who would actually read it, leave comments, BUT you know what? I went ahead and did it anyway, because it was something I could see myself enjoying, and I am glad I did not let my insecurities get in the way!  You cannot imagine how happy blogging has made me.
