The Montreal Botanical Garden, one of the city’s jewels, is recognized as one of the world’s greatest botanical gardens. It offers a colourful program of events, exhibitions and activities all year long. Along with the Biodôme, the Insectarium and the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium, the Botanical Garden is part of the Montreal Space for Life, Canada’s largest natural museum science complex and Montreal’s top must see attraction. In Holguín, you don’t need to go far for a taste of authentic Cuban life. Catamarans are waiting in the port to whisk you away to the very best snorkeling spots and Jeeps are always ready to lead you into the jungles of Cuba’s most adrenaline-filled destination. The water in Holguín is really blue, the sand white and the rum is as delicious as people say.  It’s hard to understand why Christopher Columbus, who first set foot in Holguín province in October 1492, ever left this place. I cannot believe it’s been a year already since I wrote my first words for this blog! It seems like all this happened in a different life, and I still remember exactly how I felt as if it was yesterday. I was excited and full of emotions: happy, nervous, unsure and disoriented. Unsure because although the idea of blogging seemed like a promising hobby, like so many others starting a blog, I thought who would actually read it, leave comments, BUT you know what? I went ahead and did it anyway, because it was something I could see myself enjoying, and I am glad I did not let my insecurities get in the way!  You cannot imagine how happy blogging has made me.

Mixing styles, is about having fun discovering outfits that reflect you. It’s supposed to be personal and uniquely you. Find a style that speaks to you and mix it with another style that gives a perfect look. In today’s outfit I mixed lace and leather, feminine and masculine. The idea of wearing leather on a hot summer’s day sounds about as delightful as sporting an open-back dress in the dead of winter. Unfortunately, summer almost finished… Hello, Autumn! Pinky Vibes

2H3A3357

Hello Everyone! It seems that spring is finally here in Montreal. In need of a little pink inspiration — I wanted to create a spring look based on a pale pink colour.

Pink is a hue traditionally associated with all things “girly.” For some reason (call it instinct; call it social conditioning), a lot of women, including myself, are simply drawn to the Barbie shade. Pink puts me in a gleeful mood and brings out the daintier side of my personality, and I must say, pink fashion gets me in a dreamy, almost nostalgic state of mind. Continue reading

I decided to start my Monday with a life-asserting post, if we could say so. Everything in our lives happens for a reason. Smile through the tears and never ever give up! If you fall – get up and make it even better! My motto is: ”Through darkness comes light”. What we don’t realize is that these struggles are gifts from life itself. Continue reading

Montreal delights us with a good weather – the autumn is warm and mild. Therefore, I am taking an advantage to please myself with shorts and jackets. It is well known, that the winter comes quickly in Canada, just in one night it might snow more than 30 cm! But we will hold our horses till now and enjoy the autumn. 🙂 Continue reading
